Taylor V. Card is a writer and potter specializing in hand-built sculpture and speculative short fiction. Her work experiments with finding hope, form and fantastical examinations of slice-of-life traumas. Taylor’s creative obsessions include a reverence for animals, coming of age at any age, and platonic love. Also: tangling with the complicated concept of sexuality. Her work has been recognized as genre-bending, terrifying, sensory, lyrical, and “funny and true.” Most days, she haunts her home in Michigan, making trending coffee beverages and wearing blue.
Taylor lives in Metro Detroit and loves to travel. Her day job includes technical, legal, creative and marketing writing. She serves as a Global Marketing Manager, and also consults for a legal firm and other clients.
In her free time, Taylor enjoys reading, fandom-related interests, traveling, and learning new skills - like scuba diving and embroidery. Follow Taylor on Instagram for updates on her day-to-day adventures or fill out the contact form to connect.
