September 2023 Red Noise Collective

Taylor’s short story titled, “Quarterly Updates on [1] Corporate Haunting” was published by Red Noise Collective in their Fall 2023 issue titled Sonance, available in print and digital editions.

The piece is a surreal corporate horror that examines passing through seasons, disconnection and empathy in the business world.

July 2023 Landing Zone Magazine

Her short story “Self-Eclipse” was published by Landing Zone Magazine.

A speculative fiction piece contemplating COVID-era questions, “Self-Eclipse” meditates on the importance of empathy in an increasingly more isolated world.

June 2023 Flash Flood

October 2022 Paranoid Tree

Taylor’s flash piece, “To Make Rose Ink,” is now available from Paranoid Tree as a print copy zine Volume 22.

Alternating Current

Taylor has two pieces, a short story and a piece of flash, forthcoming from Alternating Current’s project, The Coil.

 

June 2022 Milk Candy Review

Taylor’s flash fiction piece “Stochastic Prompt No. 9: (n) Sci-fi Worlds” was published by the wonderful Milk Candy Review.

It imagines different worlds that could be out there. She also had the opportunity to respond to a two-question interview about the piece.

February 2021 Digging Press

One of Taylor’s first experiments in flash fiction was kindly published by Digging Through the Fat, an online magazine of the Digging Press.

The piece, titled, “Her Immortal,” is 238 words, excluding the title. It tackles telling the story of a women’s entire life and death.

 

September 2020 Button Eye Review

Taylor was excited to have her short story “Bloodmeal No. 3” published by the Button Eye Review, and honored to have it published alongside Serge Lecompte’s I Still See You (not pictured due to copy right).

“Bloodmeal No. 3” was nominated by the Button Eye Review for the Best of the Net Awards in 2021.

2016/2017 Pine River Anthology

Taylor was honored to have her poem “Heart Problem” published in the 2016/2017 anthology. The poem is a bittersweet musing on both potential medical heart problems and the kind-heartedness of her father. The poem was featured next to Marcella Flury’s photo, “Sharp Silence” on pages 38 through 39 of the anthology. Print only, no online copy available.

Taylor’s poems “Father” and “Nicole” were published in “Maddening the Sacred Eulogy,” the Winter (Jan./Feb.) 2016 issue of See Spot Run.

 

Oct. 2016

Taylor’s poems “Mouse Man” and “READ THIS POEM OUT LOUD TO YOURSELF” were published in the October 2016 issue of See Spot Run. The issue’s title was “The Golden Allusion” and the online version can be found here.
